Ladies Welcome

WELCOME TO THE LADIES SECTION

Hi. I’m Caroline and Lady Captain for 2018. I’m relatively new to golf having taken up the sport just 4 years ago. What a fabulous time I’ve had with friendships, fun and of course golf.

I would like to thank Sharon our outgoing Lady Captain for her very successful year. I hope to continue in the same way.

My chosen charity for 2018 is the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) @ Chesterfield Royal Hospital. I would love to give some support back for all the help my family received when my youngest child was born prematurely 18 years ago.

Tapton  Ladies section is for everyone, all ages and abilities. We are a fun, friendly and supportive club. We play our main competitions on Wednesdays and Sundays. There is also the opportunity to play in inter club matches against other clubs in the region. Many of us also enter both Derbyshire and Sheffield & District competitions amongst other Opens. You can play as little or as much as you wish, social or competitive – the choice is yours.

We play throughout the winter months incorporating “Sunday Fun” where we join with the other sections of the club for fun competitions with a twist whilst raising money for the charity.

If you would like any further information or are thinking of joining, please contact myself. I can assure you of a warm welcome.

For further information please see the:

If you are new to the game and aren’t quite ready to join our club just yet, why not try the Fame Golf Academy (Ladies Group Golf Lessons) to get a feel and insight into the game and meet a few of our ladies along the way.
